Epicutis® products, on the other hand, are EWG Verified®, Proposition 65 compliant, and approved for use within the European Union, where skincare safety standards are significantly stricter. And yet, even this did not meet the exceptionally high standard we maintain for what we consider “clean beauty.”
Therefore, Epicutis®' botanical ingredients are responsibly sourced and processed in-house for maximum efficacy, without preservatives and with the most careful methods available. Our patented chia seed extract is also organic and non-GMO.

The Epicutis® brand was born in a Princeton research lab, utilizing advanced biotechnological development methods. When we saw the potential of our technology within the skincare industry, we searched for a brand that met our high standards for product transparency, clinical validation, clean formulations, and responsible development. We found nothing that came close—so we decided to create our own brand.
Our research background means that complete transparency and data-backed ingredients are in our DNA. We conduct thorough analyses on all our individual ingredients and on how they interact within our formulas. This ensures that when we say “clean,” we truly mean it.
